Novi Pazar City Stadium (Serbian Cyrillic: Градски стадион у Новом Пазару), located in the eastern part of the city, is the home venue of FK Novi Pazar. The stadium was officially opened on 12 April 2012 after one-year reconstruction and it can hold 12,000 people at full capacity.
The club was founded by the agricultural machinery manufacturer of the same name in 1953. They won the Belgrade Zone League in the 1986–87 season and took promotion to the fourth tier of Yugoslav football.

As part of the 2017–2022 construction of the Belgrade–Novi Sad high-speed railway, the station was partially upgraded and reconstructed, including works on the canopy, staircase, plateau, and the addition of a ticket booth and six elevators. The works were to be finished on 28 May 2023, but they extended.
Novi Pazar Municipality (Bulgarian: Община Нови пазар) is a municipality in Shumen Province, Northeastern Bulgaria, located between Ludogorie and Provadia Plateau, not far from South Dobrudzha geographical region. It is named after its administrative centre - the town of Novi Pazar.
By the decision of the Assembly of Belgrade, GSP "Belgrade" in 1990 became a public utility company, founded by the city. In 1991, with a total of 1,393 vehicles, with average age of 4.5 years, the streets of Belgrade was at the peak was about 1,130 vehicles a day carrying about 2.5 million passengers.
