Damascus is an unincorporated community in Gordon County, Georgia, United States. Damascus is located at the intersection of I-75/SR 401 and US 41/SR 3 north of Calhoun. It was named after the ancient city of Damascus. [2]
The Calhoun Downtown Historic District in Calhoun, Georgia is a 22 acres (8.9 ha) area which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. [1] The district includes 44 contributing buildings and 12 non-contributing ones.
