The Knight in the Area (Japanese: エリアの騎士, Hepburn: Eria no Kishi) is a Japanese manga series written by Hiroaki Igano and illustrated by Kaya Tsukiyama. It was serialized in Kodansha 's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine from April 2006 to March 2017, with its chapters collected in 57 tankōbon volumes.
Saint Seiya (Japanese: 聖闘士星矢 （ セイントセイヤ ）, Hepburn: Seinto Seiya), also known as Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac or simply Knights of the Zodiac (translated from the French title Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque), [5] is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada.
The story opens with an older narrator recounting a great adventure. He is left alone in a cabin in the wilderness by himself for a few days. He goes for a hike and ends up chasing a flying castle he sees in the sky until he is abducted by "a lot of people".
The protagonist of the story is Yōtarō Hanabusa, a member of the surviving 21st century Knights, called the "Knights of the world." Wanting to be a normal person rather than a knight, he leaves everyone behind to set out on his own, but old habits die hard and he finds that like it or not he reflexively acts like a "White Knight" any time someone's in trouble.
