Al Mayadeen (Arabic: المَيادِين, romanized: al-Mayādīn, lit. 'The Plazas') is a Lebanese pan-Arabist satellite news television channel based in the city of Beirut.
Ghassan bin Jiddo or Ghassan ben Jeddou (Arabic: غسان بن جدو; born 8 August 1962) is a veteran Tunisian-Lebanese journalist activist, and the director of Beirut-based pan-Arab satellite television channel Al Mayadeen. He has been recognized by Arabian Business as an influential Arab personality.
Lina started her career in early 1997. She worked in NBN, a Lebanese TV as a reporter & radio news presenter. In 2002, she moved to Al Jazeera news TV in Doha, Qatar. In June 2012, she began to work in Al Mayadeen, a pan-Arab television channel in Lebanon. [2] She resigned on 24 November 2019, during the 2019–20 Lebanese protests. [3]
