The Indiana Online Academy (IOA) was developed to help Indiana school districts provide a high-quality, full-time virtual option for students in grades 5-12. After 15 years of successfully delivering supplemental courses to Indiana high schools, IOA expanded to intermediate and middle school courses.
Students: Enroll/change/drop course (s), make a payment, check progress and grades. Parents/Guardians: Make a payment, monitor progress and grades. Teachers: Access class roster, check grades, record student notes. School Partners: Approve enrollments, download grade and attendance reports, monitor progress and grades.

Indiana Online offers a variety of asynchronous online summer school courses in partnership with over 300 schools statewide. Our courses are developed and taught by licensed Indiana teachers and experts in their respective subject areas.
Indiana Online offers a wide variety of courses for *5th – 12th grades in both an asynchronous and live Zoom format. *Summer school courses are offered to high school students and are only offered in an asynchronous format. Indiana Online courses are developed and taught by Indiana licensed teachers. Courses meet Indiana State Standards. Schools do not need to be a CIESC member school to take part in Indiana Online’s supplemental high school courses.
Indiana Online is an accredited online program that partners with schools to offer over 180 supplemental courses, as well as a full-time virtual solution for intermediate, middle, and high school students. All courses are designed to meet the Indiana State Standards, are accredited and are approved by the NCAA.
