Ligñon Hill (Central Bikol: Bulod nin Ligñon) is a prominent hill in the city of Legazpi City, some 3 kilometers west of its downtown port area in Albay, Philippines.The summit rises to about 512 feet (156 meters), affording excellent views of the Mayon Volcano to the northwest and the entire city and Albay Gulf to the east. Rapu-Rapu is 374 km (232 mi) southeast of Manila and 36 km (22 mi) east of Legazpi City, the provincial capital. The small island of Rapu-Rapu and Batan lie to the east of Luzon and together with the islands of San Miguel and Cagraray, form the northern rim of Albay Gulf .
