Sop Buah is an Indonesian iced fruit cocktail dessert. This cold and sweet beverage is made of diced fruits, such as honeydew , cantaloupe , pineapple , papaya , squash , jackfruit and kolang kaling ( Arenga pinnata fruit), mixed with shaved ice or ice cubes, and sweetened with liquid sugar or syrup .
Inaugurated by Jakarta Governor Ali Sadikin, on 10 November 1968, the 90-meter square cultural center was built on the former Taman Raden Saleh, a public park established and owned by Raden Saleh, who was a famous Indonesian painter during the colonial era.
In 1979, Buah was appointed by Hilla Limann, who was the president of Ghana as the Minister for Trade and Industry. [2] In 1980, he was moved to be the Minister for Education. He held this position until the Limann government was overthrown by the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council led by Jerry Rawlings in December 1981.
