Whitesboro was an unincorporated community in Mendocino County, California. [1] It was located 1 mile (1.6 km) south-southeast of Albion, [2] at an elevation of 39 feet (12 m). [1] The name was bestowed in 1876 after L. E. White, the major owner of the Salmon Creek Mill Company. [2] A post office operated at Whitesboro from 1881 to 1899.
