Alphonsus Bosah Chukwurah Nwosu (born 17 July 1944), also known as ABC Nwosu, is a Nigerian politician, parasitologist, academic, and administrator who served as minister of health from 2001 to 2003. He also served as commissioner for health in Anambra State from 1986 to 1992.

Nwosu was born on 2 October 1941. He became a professor of political science at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. [2] Nwosu served in the cabinet of Samson Omeruah, governor of the old Anambra State, where he helped traditional rulers to gain staffs of office, receive salaries and settled intra and inter community land disputes.

Nwosu is a product of the Water FC Academy in Abuja. [2] Nwosu had started playing football as a defender but switched to playing as a goalkeeper at 11 years-old. He won the ‘golden gloves’ award for the best goalkeeper at the 2022 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament as he represented Nigeria at the tournament in which they triumphed overall. [3]
Nwosu was the third child in a polygamous household and the second child of Chief Maurice and Lolo Roseline Nnorom when she was born on March 22, 1962. [9] [6] From St. Johns' Primary School in Abakaliki, she received her First School Leaving Certificate.
