Even though I wasn't able to go Dragon*Con (or any other con) this year (damn you, Covid-19!) I decided that I am going to make a Space: Above and Beyond outfit for the next time I can go to a con. I started rewatching today but I keep finding myself drawn into the story instead of taking notes on the uniforms to make sure of things. Oh well.

Space Above and Beyond is nowhere near as good as BSG. It was a clunky show with a very cheap feel and lots of contradictory themes. It had network-TV-bad writing.

Likewise, every planet they visit seems to have gravity identical to Earth's and the vast majority of them have perfectly breathable atmospheres. Physics is largely ignored for the space-fighter scenes. The list goes on... The acting can be pretty bad at times and the stories are littered with plot holes.
