When turned on, playback is less smooth and sub-hd, even when best quality is selected."

I'm using Amazon Prime Video for Windows app in my laptop. I used to stream movies in that app at HD 1080p quality.. But I don't know why in the recent days, I'm just getting only HD quality (which is considered 720p). I tried playing in Edge, Chrome, Opera but still its being streamed at HD quality only. I've 100Mbps Up/Down internet.

Netflix 4K video playback requires the hardware acceleration function of edge to be turned on. Settings - System and Performance - Use Hardware Acceleration. Then enter edge://flags in the URL bar and open, Find PlayReady DRM for Windows 10 and select Enable. Restart edge to see if it works.
Then go the the session report for that session, then choose advance tab. and in the bottom of that report you can also expand "Other" and look for the values: So in the report you see what Height and Width the enduser is sending to the Microsoft Teams server, but in this meeting the server lowerd the quality to 360x640.
Can't Play Full HD on Chromium Edge. I previously updated to the new edge but on that i was unable to play Netflix on Full HD to above. Can't play more than 720p. I can check though the "Test Patterns" inside Netflix. Because of that i uninstalled the chromium version and started using the old one.
