Upper Valley Career Center is a vocational school designed to train students in a variety of skills. Having a location in Ohio they are surrounded by companies in the manufacturing industry. UVCC serves approximately 900 students in 29 career-technical programs offered on the main campus.
Millstream Career Center is a public vocational school located in Findlay, Ohio next to Findlay High School at 1150 Broad Avenue. [1] It serves school districts located in the counties of Allen , Hancock , Hardin , Putnam , Seneca , Wood and Wyandot .
Prior to 1994, it was known as the Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. [2] Students from 27 partner high schools attend classes daily in one of 40 career programs. Students from districts outside the 27 participating schools may attend MVCTC by applying for admission and then by adhering to open enrollment guidelines. [3]
Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools (EFCTS), formerly Eastland Vocational Center (1968–2001), [2] is a joint career & technical school district in Ohio. It serves 16 school districts in Franklin , Fairfield , and Pickaway counties.
From 1913 to 1980 the school was operated under the management of C. L. Bair. Programs offered included Junior accounting, secretarial, comptometer, stenographic, and keypunch. [1] In 1980, the Julia Corporation purchased Lorain Business College, and the Lorain campus moved to North Ridge Road in Lorain, Ohio.
In December 2003, Miami-Jacobs Career College was acquired by Delta Educational Systems, Inc., a Virginia Corporation approved to do business in the State of Ohio. In 2005, Miami-Jacobs Career College opened its first branch in Springboro, Ohio, offering courses in medical assisting, dental assisting, massage therapy, cosmetology, and esthetics.
