After her husband died in 1947, Doseva-Georgieva was appointed as overseer and controller of the regional design organization in Burgas. In 1968, she was presented with the golden badge of the Union of Bulgarian Architects and installed as an honorary member of the organization. She worked as an architect until 1973, when she retired.
