The Kansas City Convention Center, originally Bartle Hall Convention Center or Bartle Hall, is a major convention center in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri, USA. It was named for Harold Roe Bartle , a prominent, two-term mayor of Kansas City in the 1950s and early-1960s.
The first donation was two dollars from an anonymous donor, the second donation was one million dollars from C. Y. Stephens, for whom Stephens Auditorium is named. The center is located on 76 acres (310,000 m 2 ), originally university agricultural fields, and is run by 40 full-time employees.
