Check your account email client. One of the top reasons a user can't find their emails is due to settings from a third-party email client such as Outlook or the Mail app on your phone. Chances are the settings in the program are set to delete the emails from the AOL server each time you check your mail.
Go to the main AOL page.; Click Sign in in the upper right hand corner.; Click Create an account at the bottom of the screen.; Enter and submit the requested information.
Click the Account Settings icon. Click Manage Profiles. Click the Email Accounts button. Look for the email account you want to update and double-click on it. Remove and re-enter your AOL Mail password. (Note: If you use an app password for Outlook, you may need to create a new app password. See the info below.) Check the status.
