UFO Robot Grendizer (UFOロボ グレンダイザー, Yūfō Robo Gurendaizā), also known as Grandizer, Ufo Robot Grendizer Raids, [3] Goldrake and Goldorak, is a Japanese manga and animated television series created by Go Nagai. The series is the third entry in the Mazinger series, later relegated into a spinoff series.

The Dragonsaurus, a mysterious prehistoric animal surviving undiscovered in the depths of the oceans, seeds panic by devouring huge quantities of oil across the globe. It heads for Tokyo, where the Japanese forces are prepared to stop the creature with three super robots: Grendizer, Great Mazinger and Getter Robo G.
The result was a release of all 92 episodes of the original series in 2 volumes: Mazinger Z TV Series Vol 1, Ep. 1–46 and Mazinger Z TV Series Vol 2, Ep. 47–92. Discotek Media later released a double feature DVD on April 29, 2014.
Episode 1: A Fierce Fight! Double Mazingers: Baron Ashura attacks Japan with an army of Mechanical Beasts , but is met head on by Kouji Kabuto and Mazinger Z. Ashura's forces manage to get the upper hand, and despite the arrival of Great Mazinger, Boss Borot and Aphrodite A, Mazinger Z is disabled and Kouji hurled to parts unknown.
In Go Nagai's Dynamic Heroes the aliens were referred to as the Damdom and were revealed to be the arch enemies of the Vegan Empire from UFO Robo Grendizer. Grangen: Capable of flying and is armed with tentacled fingers, a bladed boomerang, and eye beams from its eyes capable of blinding enemy pilots. It is the only organism of the alien trio.
