Far Rockaway Beach Bungalow Historic District is a historic area in Far Rockaway, Queens County, New York. It includes summer beach bungalows near the oceanfront of Far Rockaway, first brought to the area by developer John J. Eagan. They are smaller than the usual domestic bungalows of the 1920s.
The present house was begun in 1751, extended in the 1790s, and rebuilt after a fire in 1911. It was once the home of Colonel Sir Mark Sykes, 6th Baronet, noted English traveller and diplomatic advisor, and is now the home of Sir Tatton Sykes, 8th Baronet. The house is built in Nottinghamshire ashlar on three storeys to an H-shaped plan. [1]

Eight fire engines were needed to put out a blaze in a bungalow, Kent Fire and Rescue Service said. The fire broke out at the property on London Road, West Malling, just after 16:00 GMT on Saturday.
The fire started at 21:50 BST in the Kacchi Bhai biryani restaurant on the first floor of the Green Cozy Cottage Shopping Mall on Bailey Road and quickly spread to other floors, trapping dozens inside. The building mainly contained restaurants, along with some clothing and mobile phone shops.
