I'll bet that Ford doesn't want a class action against them and redesigns those wheelwell liners for the 2025 models. First year cars are always the ones to get the kinks worked out which is why you see more parts redesigned the year after a completely new model or major redesign is released. The 2024 S650 is now the first year.
A few years ago I had a Mustang regeared to 3.73 ratio and the shop charged $500. Granted, everything has increased in price about 90% in the last three years so who knows, maybe it's $900 now. In any case, there is NO WAY it should cost $1,500 or more to overhaul a differential.
