The Cow (Persian: گاو, Gāv, Gaav, or Gav) is a 1969 Iranian film directed by Dariush Mehrjui, written by Gholam-Hossein Saedi based on his own play and novel, and starring Ezzatolah Entezami as Masht Hassan. Some critics consider it the first film of the Iranian New Wave. [1] [2] [3]

Once Upon a Time, Cinema (Persian: ناصرالدینشاه آکتور سینما, lit. 'Naser al-din Shah, Actor of Cinema') is a 1992 Iranian comedy fantasy film written and directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf. The film includes clips from old Iranian films from the silent age onwards.
