The New Church of the Theotokos, or New Church of the Mother of God, was a Byzantine church erected in Jerusalem by Emperor Justinian I (r. 527–565). Like the later Nea Ekklesia (Νέα Ἐκκλησία) in Constantinople, it is sometimes referred to in English as "the Nea" or the "Nea Church".

St. Thomas the Apostle Church is a historic site at 5472 S. Kimbark Avenue in Hyde Park, Chicago, Illinois, at 55th Street. A Roman Catholic church of the Archdiocese of Chicago , it was built in 1922 and opened in 1925 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
That same year, a temporary structure is built, the North Side Tabernacle. [1] A new building which could hold up to 10,000 people was dedicated in 1876 and the church was renamed Chicago Avenue Church in June, 1876. [2] Dwight Moody died after an illness in 1899, and in 1908, the church was formally renamed The Moody Church in his honor.

Saint John Cantius Church (Polish: Kościół Świętego Jana Kantego) is a Latin Catholic church of the Archdiocese of Chicago. With the other religious edifices of St. Mary of the Angels, St. Hedwig's or St. Wenceslaus, it is one of the many Polish churches that overlook the nearby Kennedy Expressway.
