It may fit but I'd be comfortable with 1.5 or even a 1 inch lift. 2021 JLUR 4Xe Billet Silver, Teraflex 2.5" spacer lift, Teraflex adjustable track bar, Fox 2.0 shocks, Falken WildPeak AT 37's, Black Rhino Overland 17" wheels, Mopar Performance rock slider step, Mopar tailgate reinforcement.
Mxt, ko2 are both sub 70lbs cooper set pro are like 75 I have nitto ridge grapplers 35s (76lbs) now and Iwent On a wheel momentum calculator and put in the size andweight of my heavy 35s vsa light 37” like a ko2 and the 37 ko2 had a 15% Lower equivalent mass thanmy ridge grapplers.. so I am getting those and expect the vehicle to actually feel a touch lighter and I am happy with my 35s now ...
My feelings are the same regarding the Duratracs. I've run many tires over the years and find that the Duratracs generally have good longevity/wear, great snow traction and do well off road. My main concern was the quality of this lesser-known tire. For nearly half the price of similar 37" tires, it seems like they might be worth a try.
A lifted jeep with 37 inch tires is going to be a LOT less fun on the highway, for one additional inch of clearance at the pumpkins (though break-over, approach and departure angles will be better). 37s put a lot more strain on the axles, brakes and other drivetrain components.
I purchased 37 inch Mickey Thompson Baja boss tires. 37X 12.5 X 17 on fuel rims. Tire shop balance them and said four of the five tires was over 14 ounces of weights. So I opted to go with balancing beads. I’ll mount them this week hopefully it works.
I have “35s” more like 34” tall though Mines a sport, so dana 30 front axle. Right now I plan to regear it to 4.56 and add a real lift (i have rubicon springs and shocks for a lift now) I like to have fun and wheel hard and think 37s would be to much for a dana 30 in my case so ill be sticking with 35s for awhile.
We spent all day Sunday test fitting and swapping tires to try out 35's, 37's and 40's on our stock Wrangler 392! It was a long day, but definitely worth it to be able to see all 3 sizes on the 392 to help us decide what size tires to order for it.
That includes 35" tires, a 1.5" lift, and reinforced tailgate hinges for the spare. I also read somewhere (can't find it now) that the Rubicon 392 ends up being slightly higher than a non-392 Rubicon with that same 1.5" lift. So, the 1.5" lift on the 392 is actually closer to the equivalent of a 2 inch lift on non 392 Rubicon with XR wheel package.
The tires looks great, I get lots of compliments and most people are surprised to find out they are only a AT tire due to its aggressive look. The sidewalls are very strong aired down (had them down to about 13psi) and they seem to grab rocks very well compared to the stock KO2s. The side lugs are big and provided a good grip when aired down.
