Weston-super-Mare Association Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England. Nicknamed "The Seagulls", [ 1 ] the club is affiliated to the Somerset County Football Association and are competing in the National League South , the sixth tier of English football.
He then dropped into non-League football with Team Bath and Weston-super-Mare, before being appointed as manager of Clevedon Town in May 2010. He left Clevedon in January 2014 and four months later took charge for a brief spell at Weston-super-Mare. He returned to manage Clevedon Town for a second spell the following year.

In July 2023, James signed for newly promoted National Super League club Weston-super-Mare on a season-long loan deal alongside Exeter teammate Harry Lee. [ 7 ] In February 2025, James joined National League South side Bath City on loan for the remainder of the season.
