Alucard (Japanese: アーカード, Hepburn: Ākādo, lit. Arucard), previously Count Dracula (ドラキュラ, Dorakyura), is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Hellsing manga and anime series created by Kouta Hirano.
When Alucard appears, she is taken hostage by the vampire until Alucard shoots both of them, killing the rogue vampire and almost killing Seras. Alucard offers to turn Seras into a vampire to save her from dying, which she accepts. Then, she assists the Hellsing Organization against the increased vampire attacks.
