This is a list of the peaks along the Georgia portion of the Appalachian Trail starting at Springer Mountain. Almost seventy-six miles of the Appalachian Trail (AT) is in Georgia , where it mostly follows ridges, but does climb a few peaks, including the sixth and seventh highest points in Georgia ( Blood Mountain and Tray Mountain ).
These state resource properties contain more than 42,000 acres of rugged, forested land in Clark, Scott and Washington counties in southern Indiana. The trail extends from Deam Lake, just north of State Road 60 in Clark County, to Delaney Park, just east of S.R. 135 in Washington County. The initial 32-mile segment of the trail was opened in 1980.

Located within the forest are the Gros Ventre, Bridger and Teton Wildernesses, totaling 1.2 million acres (4,900 square kilometers).Other points of interest contained in the forest include Gannett Peak at 13,804 feet (4,207 m), the tallest mountain in Wyoming, and the Gros Ventre landslide, which is one of the largest readily visible landslides on earth.
