Burger Records was an American independent record label and record store in Fullerton, California, United States. The label was founded in 2007 by Sean Bohrman and Lee Rickard, members of the power pop band Thee Makeout Party. The record/video store, co-owned by Bohrman and Brian Flores, was opened in 2009. [1]
Allister is an American pop-punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The four-piece formed in 1994 as Phineas Gage when the original band members were still in high school. In 1998, Allister became one of the first bands to sign to Drive-Thru Records. They went on hiatus in 2007, then reunited in 2010, and have been touring and recording again since.
The band also performed at the Leo Fender Museum Center in Fullerton, California in 2014 [13] and the Hard Rock Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, in 2015. After a two-week tour for the U.S. State Department, they opened the 1995 Munich International Jazz Festival. [4] The CD was dedicated to Rich Matteson who was a highly noted educator and musical artist; he had passed in 1993 shortly after his performances on the recording. A video recording was also made of Matteson's appearance on the CD. [5]
The concert video Road Movie is a compilation of footage taken from the final three nights of the tour, in Atlanta. New Adventures in Hi-Fi , the band's tenth studio album, was released in 1996 without a supporting tour, though a handful of material was performed during this tour, either during soundcheck or the actual show.
