Yayasan Sarawak Kuching regional office at Jalan Masjid. The Sarawak Foundation was established on 21 May 1971 [1] through the Yayasan Sarawak Ordinance 1971 by the government of Sarawak. [2] The idea to set up the foundation was mooted by Abdul Rahman Ya'kub, the chief minister of Sarawak at the time. [3]
