Milwaukee Police Department officers saw an armed robbery suspect after he robbed an auto parts store, and a foot chase ensued. The suspect turned around and fired at police, striking one officer in the chest. The 38-year-old wounded officer, who was wearing body armor, was taken to the hospital with "significant contusions."
