WVUE-DT (channel 8) is a television station in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, affiliated with the Fox network. Owned by Gray Media, the station maintains primary studios on Norman C. Francis Parkway in the city's Gert Town section, with a secondary studio within the Benson Tower in downtown New Orleans; [2] [3] its transmitter is located on Magistrate Street in Chalmette, Louisiana.
Brother Martin, Jesuit and Rummel joined a Class 5A district with Chalmette, Grace King and West Jefferson (Grace King will not play a district schedule in football). Bonnabel, John Ehret and Higgins were assigned to a different 5A district with Destrehan, Hahnville and East St. John high schools to the west.
During the 1968–1969 term, the school's name was officially changed to Chalmette High School. In 1970, the Owls joined the New Orleans Catholic League, in the LHSAA's new class 4A. Wayne Warner became the principal in 1973. In 1971, an addition was built. Chalmette left the Catholic League football district after the 1988 season.
