The Nasty Boys are a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags.The team were active from the mid-1980s through the 1990s. Their gimmick was that of anti-social punks who specialized in hardcore wrestling and brawling.
In 1986, Knobbs started his career in the American Wrestling Association, performing as the Masked Terrorist.The following year, in 1986, he formed a tag team called The Nasty Boys with partner Jerry Sags and wrestled in Memphis, Tennessee, until they moved to Florida Championship Wrestling, where they won five tag team titles from 1988 through 1990.
Sags later returned to wrestling in 2001 as a trainer and with Knobbs as The Nasty Boys to wrestle in the short-lived X Wrestling Federation and the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. He retired again after the promotion folded in 2002. but returned with Knobbs to reform The Nasty Boys on June 16, 2007, at Pro Wrestling Unplugged.
Duggan and Slaughter teamed up to defeat the Nasty Boys and continued to team over the next several months; Slaughter also defeated Colonel Mustafa and General Adnan in a series of matches.
