The Enterprise receives a distress signal from the USS Yamato within the Romulan Neutral Zone, and travels to assist. After the Enterprise arrives, the Yamato suddenly explodes. Shortly afterwards, a Romulan Warbird, the Haakona, demands the Enterprise retreat from the Neutral Zone.
