Taylor–Johnson Temperament Analysis (T-JTA) is a personality test designed to measure nine common personality traits for the assessment of individual adjustment. The T-JTA is a revision by Robert M. Taylor and Lucile P. Morrison of the Johnson Temperament Analysis (JTA) developed by Dr. Roswell H. Johnson in 1941.
The test is formatted with 60 different personality traits which participants rate themselves based on a 7-point Likert scale. Traits are evenly dispersed, 20 masculine, 20 feminine, and 20 filler traits thought to be gender neutral. [3] All traits in the BSRI are positively valued personality aspects. [4]
The Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO PI-R) is a personality inventory that assesses an individual on five dimensions of personality. These are the same dimensions found in the Big Five personality traits. These traits are openness to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion(-introversion), agreeableness, and neuroticism.
The Big Five personality traits accounted for 14% of the variance in GPA, suggesting that personality traits make some contributions to academic performance. Furthermore, reflective learning styles (synthesis-analysis and elaborative processing) were able to mediate the relationship between openness and GPA.
The California Psychological Inventory (CPI) also known as California Personality Inventory [1] is a self-report inventory created by Harrison G. Gough and currently published by Consulting Psychologists Press. The text containing the test was first published in 1956, and the most recent revision was published in 1996.
