"The Great Patty Caper", also known as "Mystery with a Twistery" and "Krabby Patty No More", is the 17th episode of the seventh season and the 143rd overall episode of the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. Accepting his new role, SpongeBob eats a frozen Krabby Patty and discovers that they are made of sand. SpongeBob reads the Krabby Patty secret formula and cooks up a fresh one, telling Patrick that the Patties are made of sand. SpongeBob then gives Patrick the one he just cooked, reminding him of his preference for the original Patty.
The surprise ends up being Plankton being SpongeBob's adopted brother. Plankton wants to use this as an opportunity for SpongeBob to tell him the Krabby Patty secret formula, but before SpongeBob can tell Plankton it, the two do various activities together to get to know each other more.
