The Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT; Irish: Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Phort Láirge) was an institute of technology, located in Waterford, Ireland. The institute had six constituent schools and offered programmes in business, engineering, science, health sciences, as well as education & humanities.
The formerly named St. John's Episcopalian church currently houses classrooms, and features as the College's logo. The earliest part of the college is St. John's Episcopalian church, which was built in 1840. The church was used by the local community, which included young women from the Governesses Seminary in Warren Place. [1]
St John's College is a secondary school in Ballyfermot, Dublin, Ireland. The school is run by the De La Salle Christian Brothers. St John's College is fully funded by the Department of Education. The current Principal is Ann Marie Leonard, since 2007 and the current Deputy Principal is Adrienne Murphy, since 2008.
[3] [4] [5] When it opened, it was a Key Stage 3 model but it was re-designated as an 11-16 school in 2021. This enabled it to offer instruction up to GCSE level. [ 6 ] As of 2021, it was the school's aim to extend this further to 11-18 status and enable students to study to A Level.
