IIM Bangalore offers five degree-granting programmes in total, including the five-year full-time doctoral programme (called 'FPM') for a Ph.D. The three full-time MBA programmes are: the two-year flagship MBA (called 'PGP'), the one-year full-time EMBA/Executive MBA (EPGP), and the two-year specialised MBA in Business Analytics (PGPBA).

It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from under-graduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG).

The placement Committee elected by the students liaisons between the Institute administration, students and recruiters. Placements for the PGPs are characterised by two phases - summer placements for the first-year batch and final placements for the graduating batch.
