Katawa C.C.A.P. Singers is a Malawian choir group that emerged in the early 1980s and rose to fame in the 1990s. [1] [2] [3] It got its name from a township in Mzuzu and the group started during a fundraising initiative that was intended to construct a Presbyterian church in Katawa area in 1990.
In 2003, he left from the choir he was in and formed his own music group which played music using locally made musical instruments.
