The FIVB Senior Continental Rankings is a ranking system for men's and women's national teams in volleyball. Divided to five continental confederations, the teams of the member nations of FIVB , volleyball's world governing body, are ranked based on their game results with the most successful teams being ranked highest.
On 15 October 2022, FIVB announced the expansion of World Championships and the changes to the competition formula. A total of 32 teams are to compete for future editions of the tournament. [3] On 22 June, 2023, Volleyball Calendar 2025–2028 approved by FIVB shown that World Championships to be played biannually in odd years.

The 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship will be the 21st staging of the FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship, contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). The tournament will take place in the Philippines from 12–28 September 2025.
