Dammam (Arabic: الدَّمَّام ad-Dammām) is the capital of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Situated on the coast of the Arabian Gulf . With a population of 1,386,166 as of 2022, Dammam is the kingdom's fifth-most populous city after Riyadh , Jeddah , Mecca , and Medina .
The Dammam metropolitan area, or Greater Dammam, is the largest metropolitan area in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It consists of "The Triplet Cities" of Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Qatif and their vicinities. It had a population of 2,742,800 as of the 2022 census. [1]

Abdullah Fouad (Arabic: عبدالله فؤاد) was a Saudi businessman and one of the pioneers in the contracting and real estate sectors in Saudi Arabia. He was born in 1925 in Dammam . In 1950, he founded the Abdullah Fouad Group, which is among the 100 largest Saudi companies.
Dhahran (Arabic: الظهران, romanized: Ad͟h D͟hahrān) is a city located in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.With a total population of 143,936 as of 2022, [1] it is a major administrative center for the Saudi oil industry.
The new name is Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, it has been renamed during the visit of King Salman bin Abdelaziz to Dammam November 2016. The main campus is in the coastal area of Al-Rakah (situated between Dammam and Khobar). Several colleges are scattered around the eastern province (College of Medicine is in the main campus.)
