He was born in Bijalpur, a small town near Indore, on 19 November 1973, to Ramesh Chandra Kodarlal Patwari and Pirak Bai Patwari. [7] He has completed his schooling from Government Multi Malhar Ashram Higher Secondary School, Indore and then pursued his B.A. and L.L.B. degrees from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore.
Patwary started his political career in 1929 when he joined the Krishak Praja Party then led by Sher-e-Bangla A.K. Fazlul Huq. [2] In 1937, he was elected to the Bengal Legislative Assembly. [1]
