Prin. Dr. P. B. Patil (born Pandurang Bapu Patil, 14 January 1932 – 23 February 2014) was a member of the Sangli Assembly constituency of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (1972-1978), [1] a social reformer who worked for the cause of education and rural development in Maharashtra, India.

Sangli is notable for the Brindavana (tomb) of Satyavrata Tirtha, a saint of the Dvaita Order of Vedanta and Peetadipathi of Uttaradi Math who took Samadhi in Sangli in the year 1638. Sangli is well known as Natya Pandhari (Capital of Marathi Dramas) while Miraj is well known for manufacturing & exports of musical instruments.
Rajaram (Bapu) Anant Patil was born on 1 August 1920 at Kasegaon in Walwa, Sangli Taluka of Sangli District. His education is LL. B. was up to He worked underground in the freedom movement of 1942. Krishna Kumarsinhji was born in Bhavnagar on 19 May 1912, the eldest son and heir of Maharaja Bhavsinhji II of Bhavnagar (1875–1919, r. 1896–1919). Kumarsinhji succeeded his father upon his death in 1919; only seven years old, he ascended the Bhavnagar throne under a regency until 1931.
