L'Avventura (English: "The Adventure") is a 1960 drama film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni.Developed from a story by Antonioni with co-writers Elio Bartolini and Tonino Guerra, the film is about the disappearance of a young woman (Lea Massari) during a boating trip in the Mediterranean, and the subsequent search for her by her lover (Gabriele Ferzetti) and her best friend (Monica Vitti).
L'Avventura, meaning The Adventure in Italian, is the debut studio album by Dean & Britta, released in 2003 and originally credited to "Britta Phillips & Dean Wareham." It was produced by Tony Visconti (Bowie, T. Rex).
They became hugely popular with "L'Avventura" in 1972 and with "Made in Normandie" in 1973. "L'Aventura" sold over one and a half million copies and was awarded a gold disc . [ 2 ] Soon artistic, mediatic and family tensions resulted in a divorce and break-up of the duo with each member pursuing a separate sole musical career.

L'Avventura was produced by Tony Visconti and released on Jetset Records in 2003, under the name "Britta Phillips & Dean Wareham". After hearing the album, Peter Kember (a.k.a. Sonic Boom) fell in love with it and did a remix mini-LP, Sonic Souvenirs, also released on Jetset Records.
