Greene County Technical School District (Greene County Tech.) is a public school district based in Paragould, Arkansas, United States. The assumed course of study at Greene County Tech is the Smart Core curriculum developed by the Arkansas Department of Education.Students are engaged in regular and Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and exams prior to graduation, with the opportunity for qualified students to be named honor graduates based on grade point average and additional coursework above minimum requirements.
Paragould is located southeast of the center of Greene County. U.S. Routes 412 and 49 intersect in the city west of downtown. US 412 leads east 9 miles (14 km) to the Missouri state line at the St. Francis River , and a further 23 miles (37 km) northeast to Kennett, Missouri ; to the west US 412 leads 26 miles (42 km) to Walnut Ridge .

In April 2009, Paragould hired alumnus, former player under Paynter, and most recently, head coach the Greene County Tech Junior High boys' basketball team, Jay Robertson. The girls' squad is coached by former Arkansas State assistant coach Jay Cook; Cook's first year was the 2008–09 season.

Walcott is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Greene County, Arkansas, United States. Walcott is located at the junction of Arkansas highways 141 and 168, 10 miles (16 km) west of Paragould. [2] It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 152. [3]
Peach Orchard is in an exclave of the Greene County Tech School District of Paragould, surrounded by territory of the Corning School District. [9] Its zoned high school is Greene County Tech High School. Previously Peach Orchard had its own schools. At some point they consolidated into the Delaplaine School District of Delaplaine. [8]
