Paine Elementary School is situated on U.S. Highway 11 on a tract of land donated by Amerex Corporation founders Ned and Goldie Paine. It is the largest elementary school in Trussville, with more than 1,300 students. The sprawling campus features a north and south side, each having its own gymnasium and own cafeteria.
