Michael Grandage CBE (born 2 May 1962) is a British theatre director and producer. He is currently artistic director of the Michael Grandage Company. [1] From 2002 to 2012 he was artistic director of the Donmar Warehouse in London [2] and from 2000 to 2005 he was artistic director of Sheffield Theatres.
Both performances were BAFTA Award-nominated. Sheen received a fourth Olivier Award nomination in 2006 for portraying the broadcaster David Frost in Frost/Nixon at the Donmar Warehouse and he later revisited the role of Frost in the 2008 film adaptation of the play.
In 1997, The Fix premiered at the Donmar Warehouse, in a production directed by Sam Mendes, with musical direction by Colin Welford.
