The former Franklin County Veterans Memorial in 2005. The current museum occupies the same location. The site along the west side of the Scioto River near the Discovery Bridge on Broad Street was originally home to the Franklin County Veterans Memorial, [3] which originally opened in 1955 [4] and was demolished to make way for the museum in early 2015, [5] by S.G.
