Anderson Speedway is a quarter mile (400 m) high-banked paved oval racetrack in Anderson, Indiana, United States. The track hosts the annual Little 500 sprint car race and the Redbud 400 stock car race .
Inaugurated on March 31, 1954, the Hutcheson Stakes was named in honor of labor leader William Levi Hutcheson (1874–1953) who served as a member of the Gulfstream Park Advisory Board. [2] It has been one of several prep races for the Grade 1 Florida Derby .
The H. Allen Jerkens Stakes at Gulfstream Park is a Thoroughbred horse race open to three year olds and up run at a distance of two miles on turf. The race is named in honor of the late U. S. Racing Hall of Fame trainer H. Allen Jerkens. The first running of the H. Allen Jerkens was held on January 31, 2015, with Unitarian winning the race.

The Gulfstream Park Handicap was first run in 1946. It was won the next year in track record time by Armed, dubbed "the greatest attraction ever offered at his young seaside course" by the New York Times. The Holy Bull Stakes is a Grade III American Thoroughbred horse race for three year old horses run over the distance of one and one-sixteenth miles on the dirt, held annually in January at Gulfstream Park, Hallandale Beach, Florida. The event currently carries a purse of $250,000.
The race is named for Forward Gal, the American Champion Two-Year-Old Filly of 1970 and a career winner of twelve events in 26 starts. [1]The inaugural running of the event was on 12 February 1981 and was won by Hickory Tree Stable's Dame Mysterieuse by 1 + 1 ⁄ 4 lengths in a time of 1:22 1 ⁄ 5.
