"Cuddly Toy" is a song by British band Roachford. It was the second single taken from their self-titled debut studio album , and was their first chart hit single. It was recorded at CBS Recording Studios, Whitfield Street, London over a three-day period between Saturday 19 March and Monday 21 March 1988.
"Madman" is a song by the new wave band Cuddly Toys, which was released in Japan in 1979 and in the UK in 1980 as the lead single from their debut studio album Guillotine Theatre. The song, dating to 1976–77, originated as a composition by Steve Harley and Marc Bolan , with later contributions by David Bowie .
In January 1979 they changed their name to 'Cuddly Toys'. The band's first release was the single "Madman", a song written by David Bowie and Marc Bolan, which reached No. 19 in the UK Indie Chart in 1980.
