Greenport Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Greenport in Suffolk County, New York. The district has 254 contributing buildings. It contains a large, dense collection of largely unchanged structures from about 1750 to the 1930s.
Greenport is a village in New York's Suffolk County, on the North Fork of Long Island. It is located within the Town of Southold and is the only incorporated community in the town. [ 2 ] The population was 2,197 at the 2010 census.

On February 18, 1997, Marriott International bought the Renaissance Hotel Group N.V. for US$1 billion from NWD. The deal dramatically expanded Marriott's presence in fast-growing Asian markets. [8] The Marriott announcement came only a few weeks after Renaissance Hotel Group N.V., tentatively agreed to be sold to rapidly expanding Doubletree Corp.
Greenport is a town in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 4,473 at the 2020 census, up from 4,165 in the 2010. [1] [2] The town is on the western border of the county and surrounds the city of Hudson on three sides. It is the third largest municipality in southern Columbia County, after Claverack and Hudson.
The North Fork is accessible via roadways from the west, most notably New York State Route 25. The Long Island Rail Road provides limited weekday, and limited weekend service as far as Greenport on the Ronkonkoma Branch. The Hampton Jitney provides seven days per week, year-round express bus service between Long Island's East End and New York City.
