Pinconning is a city in Bay County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,204 at the 2020 census. [4] It is included in the Saginaw, Midland, and Bay City metropolitan area. The city is locally noted for its former production of cheese and cheese products, especially Pinconning cheese.

The Bay County Library System was established on January 1, 1974 [2] [3] after the county electorate approved a $700,000 tax levy for five years.
