MacEwan University (/ məˈkjuːən / mə-KEW-ən) is a public undergraduate university located in the downtown core of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Formerly a two-year college, [1] in 2009 it became Alberta's sixth university. MacEwan University offers ten baccalaureate degrees, one applied degree and 43 diploma and certificate programs.
From 2012 to 2018, he worked the University of Alberta as an Assistant Professor and the Faculty Director of the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services. [3] In 2018, he was appointed MacEwan University's first Canada Research Chair and was the founding Director of the MacEwan Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity.
