General Waker-Uz-Zaman [a] SBP OSP SGP psc (born 16 September 1966) is a four star general of the Bangladesh Army who is the current Chief of Army Staff (CAS) [2] of the Bangladesh Army since 23 June 2024. [3] [4] [5] Prior to his appointment as CAS, he served as the Chief of General Staff (CGS) of the Bangladesh Army.

[1]the 24th Artillery Brigade and Guimara Region which was established in 5 June 1982, It was initially under Chittagong Cantonment and then it was shifted to be under Dighinala Region but in 1994, the brigade was finally shifted to be under present Guimara Region.
